Summer fun
Somehow the summer has flown by again. We have two weeks before we report back to work, but I have several meetings and workshops to attend so it feels like I am back to work. I am excited for the new year to start and look forward to meeting my new students and their families. I have many goals this year including improving my parent engagement. I am reading a book called Teach Like A Pirate, and I am excited to try out some new student engagement strategies. I am going to help many of our staff with their new smart boards, and our cart of iPads. One of the most anticipated things for my new school year is that I received a grant of $5000 to purchase 18 chrome books. I am looking forward to moving my classroom to a paperless room.
I have a few more days to enjoy with my dogs before we are back full time!!
